August 31, 2010 - Andrew M Ross has been promoted to president of Rockwood Holdings Inc’s Performance Additives segment. Mr Ross will be responsible for Rockwood’s color pigments and services business, its clay-based additives business (including Southern Clay Products), and its wood treatment business.

August 31, 2010 - Rockwood Holdings Inc has promoted Vernon S Sumner to chairman of the executive management board of Sachtleben Chemie GmbH, Rockwood’s titanium dioxide joint venture with Kemira Oyj. Mr Sumner was previously president of Rockwood’s clay-based additives business (Southern Clay Products)
